say, short & sharp. He was
arguing a contemporary cultural
conviction: it’s difficult to stay
afloat & survive without the use

her genre, in particular an

interpretive articulation of
Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring.
It is this area, she feels, that

offers a perspective on identity,
the richest symbolism, &
sits well beside the displays

of graphic edgy apparel she
finds within the center pages
of so-called “lads” magazines.





Mark Young lives in a small town in North Queensland in Australia, & has been publishing poetry for almost sixty years. He is the author of over forty books, primarily text poetry but also including speculative fiction, vispo, & art history. His work has been widely anthologized, & his essays & poetry translated into a number of languages.
